WebAug 2, 2024 · 2/08/21 #109. Hi, I have restored a Bantam mk1 lathe, it is up and running. When I was setting up the change gears I noticed that the Shear Pin was missing from the swing frame assembly. The purpose of the pin is to protect the lead screw against overload in the low speed range.
