WebJul 6, 2024 · In-Service Training DCS requires each licensee in the foster family home to successfully complete 15 hours of in-service training annually, which includes specialized training to meet the child's specific needs. Each DCS region will provide opportunities for in-service training on a regular basis. WebDCS makes diligent efforts to work with families and tribes to identify children who are subject to the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). DCS provides services that ensure the health and safety of Indian children while protecting their cultural heritage to the greatest extent possible.
