I used it when I built a Kerdi shower but the basic construction principles of RedGuard and Kerdi are similar enough. It is nice in that the finish height in adjustable. Base is set in the mud and the top is set in the tile thinset. Webmaterial. Apply a second coat of RedGard at right angles to the first coat.
