WebAug 15, 2024 · Furthermore, these TTF-based COFs are redox active to form organic salts that exhibit tunable electric conductivity (as high as 1.4 × 10-2 S cm-1 at 120 °C) by iodine doping. These results open a way toward designing 3D electroactive COF materials and promote their applications in molecular electronics and energy storage. WebTTF-Ph-COF and TTF-Py-COF upon iodine doping show an enhanced conductivity of 10 −5 and 10 −6 S cm −1, respectively. The improved electric conductivity upon doping originates from the formation of charge-transfer complexes owing to the oxidation of TTF by iodine.

Websynthesized COFs (~50.0 mg) were immersed in DMF for 12 h (3 5.0 ml) and then acetone for another 36 h (3 5.0 ml). The acetone was then extracted under vacuum at 85 °C to afford the samples for sorption analysis. To estimate pore size distributions for … WebRegarding this, Lan et al. described condensation among the tetrathiafulvalene (TTF act as electron donor) and metalloporphyrin (electron acceptor) to synthesize a series of COFs, … WebThe COF based on TTF was synthesized by Zhang’s group in 2014 for the first time. The TTF-COF constructed by tetrathiafulvalene-tetrabenzaldehyde and p-phenylenediamine (PPDA) with –C=N– ( Figure 6 ) provided potential for applications in electronic and optoelectronic materials. greenworks battery push lawn mower
